TF Sport has competed in many events and championships around the globe with its range of Aston Martin Vantage GT3s, but this coming November there is a new one for the list as they compete in the FIA Motorsport Games GT Cup for the first time.
The team will be one of 18 crews taking part in this unique event, running under the Team Turkey moniker at the Vallelunga Circuit near Rome, Italy. Inaugural champions Salih Yoluç and Ayhancan Güven team up together once again to defend their crown.
Salih is certainly well known to the squad; a regular in WEC and Blancpain and prior to that ELMS and GT Open. Together with Ayhancan, Salih won the inaugural GT Nations Cup last November in Bahrain, something TF Sport hope to help him emulate for the second time.
Ayhancan, who recently tested the team's GT3 in Italy, currently competes in the Porsche Super Cup championship, claiming his first victory recently in the support event for the British Grand Prix. In 2018 he took both the Benelux and French championships to his 6 Hours of Rome Gold Cup from 2017. With a proven Turkish pairing, the team look forward to their first GT Nations Cup.
Tom Ferrier, TF Sport Director
"It's an honour to be competing in the FIA Motorsport Games with Salih and Ayhancan. We're a British-based team with a very international flavour so it's great to be competing as Team Turkey. Ayhancan tested with us last week in Vallelunga and he was quick right out of the box, so combined with Salih, it will be a formidable line-up.
"For us, the opportunity to run the new Aston Martin Vantage GT3 in this series was too good an opportunity to miss. Our drive, as ever, is to give Salih the best package as possible so that he can make it back-to-back wins in Turkish colours."
