TF SPORT AND AO RACING UNVEIL THEIR LINE UPS FOR THE 2026 EUROPEAN LE MANS SERIES SEASON
Following a highly successful 2025 European Le Mans Series, TF Sport and AO Racing are gearing up for the upcoming season. With the start of the championship quickly approaching, the teams reveal their line-ups for the 2026 season: the battle will once again be fought on two fronts, in both LMP2 Pro/Am and LMGT3.
In the LMP2 Pro/Am, the fate of AO by TF will be entrusted to the most famous dragon in the world of motorsports. Spike, the purple and orange Oreca 07 Gibson, will once again spread its speedy wings among the most famous European circuits. In 2026, the dragon tamers will be the same as in the previous campaign: behind the wheel of the #99 LMP2 car will be PJ Hyett, Louis Delétraz and Dane Cameron, a talented and tremendously quick trio who brought pure joy to AO by TF throughout the 2025 season. PJ Hyett – AO Racing Team Owner and driver – has a wealth of experience in endurance racing and has demonstrated his skills and speed more than once: in 2025, alongside his two teammates, PJ Hyett clinched a stunning victory in the LMP2 Pro/Am class and a solid 3rd place in the overall category standings at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Louis Delétraz, born in Geneva in 1997, has played a key role in the history of TF Sport. The Swiss driver, world champion in the FIA WEC LMP2 class in 2023 and European Le Mans Series LMP2 class champion in 2021, 2022 and 2024, will continue to race with AO by TF in pursuit of further success. Dane Cameron, born in Newport Beach in 1988, will return to AO by TF after a successful first season together. The American driver has been a leading figure in endurance racing for many years: he won the IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship title in the GTD class in 2019 and, in the DPi class, he won the Rolex 24 at Daytona in 2024. Cameron also raced in the FIA World Endurance Championship, being one of the drivers of the Porsche 963 in the Hypercar class in 2022 and 2023. These results tell a lot, but not everything: in 2025, in Spike's debut season in the European Le Mans Series, the trio won the title in the LMP2 Pro/Am class. If you're looking for the reigning champions... well, you've just found them.
Speaking of reigning champions, the Corvette Z06 GT3.R, winner of the LMGT3 class title, will return to roar around the circuits... albeit with different drivers. What was #82 will now be #33, with a crew of drivers that TF Sport fans are getting to know in the current Asian Le Mans Series. At the wheel of the roaring Vette will be Blake McDonald and Matthew Bell, with a third driver to be announced in the coming weeks. McDonald (USA) and Bell (UK) were teammates in the 2025 GT World Challenge America, securing victories and important results, and Matthew, who also raced in the IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship and won the 2022 Asian Le Mans Series in LMP2, conquered the 2025 Rolex 24 at Daytona with a Z06 GT3.R.
TF Sport and AO by TF are patiently awaiting the start of the next European Le Mans Series season: all eyes are on 7 April 2026, when official testing will take place at the Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona.
