TF SPORT CROWNED 2022 FIA WORLD ENDURANCE CHAMPIONSHIP GTE AM CHAMPIONS

Ben Keating, Henrique Chaves and Marco Sørensen finished fourth in the FIA WEC 8 Hours of Bahrain in TF Sport's #33 Aston Martin Vantage GTE, and secured the GTE Am champions title at the season finale. With TF Sport claiming the team champions' crown, it was Keating and Sørensen who are the official 2022 FIA WEC GTE Am driver champions, with Chaves, who did not compete in the #33 Vantage at the championship opener at Sebring, finishing in third place in the driver standings. D'station Racing completed their WEC campaign with a top-10 finish, placing them 10th in the FIA WEC GTE Am standings. Tom Ferrier, TF Sport Managing Director - "It feels incredible to have finally won the WEC crown after narrowly missing out the last couple of years. Ben and Marco were on form all year, and with Henrique joining us at Spa, it made the line-up all that much stronger. Le Mans was of course a huge highlight, but to take the championship title too is phenomenal. We had another great year with D'station Racing and they improved greatly on the previous season. They were really unlucky at Le Mans and that is what hit their championship position the hardest. But Hoshino-san, Fujii-san and Charlie did a superb job. I'm immensely proud of the entire crew! Ben Keating, #33 TF Sport Bronze Driver - "We had a perfect race, I can't say anything negative about it other than being unlucky under the full course yellows. We were really only racing the #98 for the championship and because we had such a good start, they had to throw some Hail Marys in there and they left Paul to run at the very end. We needed to stay close to them and even with five minutes left, you're still wondering what could happen! As I look back at the season with TF, it has just been unbelievable. We got second place in the first two races, then we won Le Mans and Fuji and I can't imagine having a better season than what we're had here, it's a tribute to everyone on the team. It's just been incredible!" Henrique Chaves, #33 TF Sport Silver Driver - "My season was great! I helped Ben and Marco win the championship and won at my first ever Le Mans, in my first year of WEC, so I cannot think of a better result. For sure it would have been good to start the season with them at Sebring and to share the championship with them, but I hope they like what I produced in the car, which was my goal. I also got P3 in the championship! That's also a proud moment for me. TF did an amazing job and big congratulations to them and thank you for the opportunity." Marco Sørensen, #33 TF Sport Platinum Driver - "There's been a lot of crucial moments this season, with Le Mans definitely being the biggest one! And as I hadn't won Le Mans before, it was very special to get that on the CV. But when it comes down to a world championship, it takes a group of guys to show pace over the whole season and that's what you need to win. We've been consistent in most of the races, not made any bad mistakes and that's how a championship comes in, in the end!"
