DOUBLE PODIUM FOR TF SPORT IN ITS 10TH 24 HOURS OF LE MANS: THE #33 CORVETTE WINS IN LMGT3, WHILE ROCKIE TAKES 3RD PLACE IN LMP2 PRO/AM
TF Sport celebrated its tenth appearance at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in spectacular fashion. The team marked this incredible and historic milestone with two podium finishes: a splendid class victory in LMGT3 and an excellent third place in LMP2 Pro/Am.
It was the #33 Corvette Z06 GT3.R that climbed to the top step of the podium. The yellow Vette, driven magnificently by the returning Ben Keating, Jonny Edgar and Nicky Catsburg, put on a show as it fought its way back from P17, the position it had secured at the end of qualifying. The three drivers, with their blend of experience, racing skills and pace, made the most of the perfect strategy crafted by the team’s engineers. One position at a time, the #33 Corvette worked its way through the field, demonstrating rock-solid reliability and a blistering pace. Every strategic decision was spot on and, with a flawless race, TF Sport achieved the perfect result. For the team, this is their first class victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans with the Corvette and the best possible way to celebrate their tenth participation in the world’s most prestigious and historic race.
Champagne was also sprayed on the LMP2 Pro/Am podium, where the #99 AO by TF Oreca 07 Gibson crew took third place after a tough and hard-fought race. PJ Hyett, James Allen and Dane Cameron fought their way back from P8 overall in Qualifying to third place in class, securing a third consecutive podium finish at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, which once again demonstrates the quality of the entire team. Rockie’s race was slowed by a brief excursion into the gravel that cost Pegasus a bit of time, but the three drivers and the #99 car overcame the hiccup and finished the race in style.
The #34 Racing Team Turkey by TF Corvette Z06 GT3.R also staged a truly solid comeback, finishing the race in P6. After being excluded from Qualifying and forced to start from the back of the LMGT3 grid, the red Vette driven by Peter Dempsey, Salih Yoluç and Charlie Eastwood began to climb the ranks thanks to its excellent pace. The three drivers and the entire crew put in a solid performance, overtaking their rivals one by one. Unfortunately, starting so far back prevented the #34 from joining its sister car on the podium at the 2026 24 Hours of Le Mans, but the pace demonstrated by the team throughout the weekend allows us to look back on the French outing in a thoroughly positive light.
The #2 Corvette Z06 GT3.R finished in 14th place in the LMGT3 class. The third TF Sport Corvette, which came to the 24 Hours of Le Mans after securing the 2025 European Le Mans Series class victory, in the hands of HH Prince Jefri Ibrahim, Lorcan Hanafin and Ben Green, performed well on the Circuit de la Sarthe and gained 11 places from its starting position. The all-new line-up put in a clean and solid performance, managing to make up for the time lost due to a gearbox issue: no mean feat given just how demanding the 24 Hours of Le Mans can be.
For TF Sport, it is now time to celebrate and recharge their batteries, as the next round of the FIA World Endurance Championship, the 6 Hours of São Paulo, is less than a month away. The #33 will arrive in Brazil as leader of the LMGT3 Teams’ standings – with Jonny Edgar and Nicky Catsburg leading the LMGT3 Drivers’ classification – whilst the #34 will arrive at the Autodromo José Carlos Pace in 13th place in the LMGT3 Teams’ standings, with Peter Dempsey, Salih Yoluç and Peter Dempsey in 17th place in the Drivers’ classification.

Climbing from 17th and 25th of the grid in LMGT3 to 1st and 6th is amazing work by the drivers and crew. To have a 3rd consecutive podium in LMP2 is also a credit to all involved. Finally to win our 4th Le Mans and give Corvette their 10th win at Le Mans is staggering and I’m so happy for everyone who works so hard that this will be always in the history books. I could not be prouder”.
