Charlie is progressing through the motorsport ranks with remarkable speed. From championship success in the 2012 Rotax World finals to competing in the FIA World Endurance championship in 2018 in such a short period of time is an impressive feat. In between, Charlie gained further karting accolades before taking Rookie and then Pro titles in the Porsche Carrera Cup in 2016 and 2017 respectively. For the 2018/19 FIA World Endurance Championship he joined Salih Yoluc, Euan Hankey and Jonny Adam in the #90 Aston Martin GTE. 2019 also saw Charlie take the title of Aston Martin Racing Junior and win the Pro Am class of the Blancpain Endurance, alongside Salih and Ahmad. 2020 saw Charlie take his maiden Le Mans 24 victory with Salih and Jonny finishing the season as vice champion in the FIA WEC and the International GT Open. Charlie remained with teammate Salih for 2021, as they progressed to the LMP2 class of the European Le Mans Series in the Racing Team Turkey entry, where they scored a class win and podiums in both class, and the overall standings. Racing Team Turkey finished fourth in LMP2 Pro Am. 2022 was a similar story for Charlie, who raced in the Asian Le Mans Series, and also returned with Salih in the ELMS championship, where they won the title in the LMP2 Pro Am class. This season, Charlie got off to a good start by winning the Asian Le Mans Series overall at the beginning of 2023. He will participate again in the ELMS championship with Racing Team Turkey, with Salih YoluÇ and the Swiss driver Louis Deletraz. In 2023, Charlie will also participate in the World Endurance Championship with Ahmad Al Harty and Michael Dinan, taking part with them in the centenary edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
